Very nice Example of a True 1873 Trapdoor Saddle Ring Carbine ! Serial number 189229. Gun is In overall excellent condition! Barrel has all of the solid blue still remaining! Thinning but still bright . Some light handling marks . Frame and trapdoor also have all there original finish still remaining! Vivid Case Colors are remaining! Original wood stock is in excellent condition with handling marks . Cartouche is not visible. Outline partial visible . Wood to metal fit is Excellent . Gun has correct "C" marked rear sight and correct front sight . Correct original saddle ring still remaining. Correct carbine Butt plate . This is a all correct and original 1873 Trapdoor Carbine!
