Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk1 (T) sniper rifle, manufactured 1944, chambered in 303 British with a 25 inch barrel, bright & shiny bore, well defined lands & grooves, 3.5x optic, and crate. Inside the crate is a case for the scope, and a leather sling. The NRA grading condition for this USED firearm is Very Good. The Lee Enfield sniper rifle stands out from the other famous marksman rifles of World War Two amongst serious collectors. This is because aside from its rarity, while most nations simply added optics to standard infantry rifles, the English picked rifles that stood out in precision to be re-smithed by Holland & Holland. These properly purpose-built rifles were so great that after the conclusion of the war, the No. 4 (T)'s would be refit as the L42A1 in 7.62 NATO into the 1980s. This rifle, an original from 1944 that has not been rechambered to 7.62, is an incredible example of a rare rifle that any collector of fine military surplus arms would be proud to own.
