Description:
Colt Single Action Army civilian model manufactured in 1875. This is a .45 Colt with a 7 1/2" barrel. Serial #15426. It has early model features such as italic barrel address, bullseye ejector rod head, one piece walnut stocks and small locking bolt slots on the cylinder without the approaches found on later revolvers. Correct two line patent dates on frame. Original finish was blue and casehardened is now a pleasing gray/brown patina. The grips have most of the original varnish remaining indicating this revover was not carried extensively as many others of the same period. The bore is excellent. All numbers match. A nice early civilian that was well taken care of over the last 147 years! Sensibly priced at $7995.00 shipped.REDUCED TO $6995.00 shipped.
