Description:
SCARCE COLT LIGHTING IN SMALL FRAME - .22 CALIBER RF- SN 8007. Made in 1889 with a round 24 in. barrel that has fixed rear sight and fixed blade front sight. Top of blued barrel with orignal markers name and trademark stamp and 22 cal on left side of barrel. Orignal walnut checked forearm with slight schabel end. Unchecked original walnut stock with orginal crisp Colt buttplate. Receiver is a deep blue and unengraved - sn marked on lower tang. Top tang has lyman adjustable peep sight. CONDITION: Gun retains nearly all of its expertly restored finishes to both wood and metal surfaces with only minor subsequent wear. No grain separation on stock or forearm. Bore is bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. A very rare and hard to find Colt!
