Circa 1850's Kentucky or plains rifle approximately 48 caliber. The 39 inch barrel is a bit over 1" and is of moderate weight and has both front and rear sights. The unmarked functioning lock has set triggers. The full length maple stock has a minor repair behind the hammer. The lock and barrel have a dark patina. The trigger guard and but plate are brass. The bore shows strong rifling but is dark and needs cleaning. Shipping will be actuall cost by insured usps priority mail with tracking.
