US Model 1861 contract musket by Providence Tool Co. of Providence R.I. Made in 1864. The full length 3 band stock is in very good condition but does have a chip behind the hammer (see photos). The full length barrel has both front and rear sights. The approximately 60 caliber bore is dark and there is no visible rifling. All metal parts have a dark brown patina. The rifle original and complete with sling swivels and original ramrod. A nice example of a civil war musket. Shipping will be actuall cost by insured usps priority mail with tracking.
