We offer free Shipping for orders over $500. Description: This is a Gewehr M84/98 bayonet WWII pattern w/Bakelite grips. This fit the Mauser Gewehr 98 & Karabiner 98k which were two of the standard German infantry rifles. The ricasso is marked asw on one side and 4315 over y on other side plus 40 on blade spine. The non sharpened 9 7/8" (251mm) blade is in excellent condition with bright finish no wear or chips and an unaltered tip. The Bakelite handle has no cracks or apparent wear and is a deep brown color with a flashguard, the pommel has the double Waffenamt WaA883. The scabbard is coded 3765 and SN on the frog stud with the name Snarke on body. It is in very good condition with 85% of its bluing with a dusting of surface oxidation. Shows little wear with small scratches and dents. Frog is gloss black front finish with tight stitching and gfg 1943 stamped on the back. Both the bayonet and the scabbard are marked with the Waffenamt stampings. Please see pictures for details. SOLD |
