Description:
SOLD Antique made in Belgium, "screw barrel" percussion Pistol, with folding trigger.
Burl wood grips, and a twist steel 3", 45 cal. barrel.
Probably made between the 1860s - 1880s.
All original, but the main, hammer spring is missing, and possibly other internals.
Sold as a display piece only, non functioning.
Base included made out of Cherry wood, and 1/2 of a little 3 point whitetail.
These little pistols were loaded by removing the barrel, filling the chamber with black powder,
placing a ball on top of the charge, and screwing the barrel back on.
