For your consideration, a Marlin model 1895 Century Limited chambered in .45-70 Government. This piece is a commemorative issued in celebration of the 1994 centennial of the Marlin Firearms Company. As such, it features a half-round-half-octagonal barrel, and an attractively figured wood stock. The receiver is embellished with banners, scroll, and a vignette of bears at left, and of a mounted rider at right with both bound by rope border. .45-70 Government
