This original poster shows a soldier preparing to throw a grenade under the heading "Let 'em have it" "Buy extra bonds" U.S. Govt. Printing Office 1943 -0-563183-official U.S. Treasure Poster-WFD 879A. Excellent condition with folding creases from the original mailer. This was a "Personal Appeal" piece which were considered to be most effective. This work was done by Bernard Perlin who worked for Life and Fortune magazine. Poster measures 20x28". A great piece shown on page 204 of "Posters of WWII" by Peter Darman.
