Description:
This is a nice example of an AC 41 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. This one also comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. The gun itself has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. The most obvious sign of wear are areas of splotchy discoloration and minor pitting along the barrel, right side of the slide, and underside of the frame. Spotty wear and pin-pricking on the front strap. Minor wear on both sides of the slide, concentrated around the high edges. Areas of scratching and minor pitting on the magazine bottom. Comes with excellent waffen-proofed Walther grips. The bore is shiny with strong rifling - it would be near-mint except for one small area of pin-pricking near the muzzle. De-cocker is functional.
