Sold !!! Very rare Colt Bisley Arizona Territory gun
Cal. 44 Russian/ Smith and Wesson Special
There were 5 guns in Shipment. Went to Copper Queen Consilidated Mining Arizona Territory. I'm guess Guard guns. 5 in the shipment so that they all carried the same cartridge. Makes sense. Anyway, To make a long story longer. Some carry wear but still 80% plus condition. And action is like new. Locks up like vault. Bore is a 9
This is as rare as a honest politician. all Blue in Bisley that's not a flat-top target. (Usually in this caliber it would be a Target Flattop.). In the ledgers it says they didn't make a standard Bisley in S&W Special. But it appears they made 5. Human error. Sh. It happens. I believe for the rarity and shipping destination and just the overall condition of the item. It's priced very fair. I wouldn't doubt that this in a big bringing over $10k. Money just gets worth less every day it appears.
