Description:
This is an excellent Mauser P.38 with 'byf 44' slide and dual-tone finish. The 'e' block examples actually date to early in 1945, and this one features a phosphate frame/slide with blued barrel. Only about 18,000 dual-tones were produced, compared to ~125k of the other 'byf 44' variations. It has minor wear on the muzzle and front edges of the slide, and some thinning on the front strap. Excellent bore and grips. Magazine is E/135 marked. Fully functional, including de-cocker.
