Here is a Civil War survivor who shows some usage but remains strong and hale after 160 years. .577 caliber with a decent bore- fairly good rifling and some black powder roughness but no deep pitting or rings. Wood has some dings and dents but again, it's all there and sound. Lock works as it should. For the re-enactor, the hunter, or the person who just wants an authentic piece of history to put on his wall, this is a good choice. Shipping and insurance to your door in most states.
