EXCEPTIONAL FACTORY EXHIBITION GRADE ENGRAVED MERWIN & HULBERT MEDIUM FRAME FOLDING HAMMER D.A. .38 CF CAL. 3 ½” REVOLVER CIRCA 1880’S. Brilliant example in excellent plus little used condition with 99% nickel finish with all the bright polish. Exceptional full coverage distinctive Merwin & Hulbert “Punchdot” floral scroll engraving with unique Retriever scene on left side plate. Factory pearl grips in perfect condition. Back strap interestingly stamped with Royal Irish Constabulary registration numbers from the period of the late 1800’s-early 1900’s. Perfect working order and excellent bore. Highest grade of engraving and in best condition we have seen on a Merwin & Hulbert Medium Frame revolver.
