S 125945, Smith & Wesson 357 Magnum Pre-Model 27, It was shipped from the factory on November 23, 1954 to Evaluators Limited in Quantico, Virginia, 8 3/8" pinned barrel with a rib, Micrometer adjustable rear sight, Ramped blade front sight, Serrated top strap & rib, Case hardened trigger and hammer, N frame, Serial numbers match on the cylinder and ejector rod housing, This piece remains original, The original high gloss barrel blue remains at 99%, The frame and cylinder blue at 98%, The grips remain at 99%, The bore is excellent plus. It comes with a period blue and gold factory box. These were well made and well finished by S&W in the late 1940's to the late 1950's. They were offered from 1947 to 1957.
