Here we have a Scheels exclusive Cooper Firearms of Montana Model 22 SVR single shot bolt action rifle chambered in .22-250 caliber. The .22-250 Remington is a very high-velocity, short action, .22 caliber rifle cartridge primarily used for varmint hunting and small game hunting. It is capable of reaching over 4000 feet per second. Cooper rifles are known for their superior 1/2 MOA accuracy at 100 yards. This single shot bolt action rifle has a laminated stock and the barrel is properly free floated. The 26 inch stainless (matte) match heavy barrel has a minty bore with strong rifling and a crowned muzzle. The bolt has three locking lugs and the action features a two position safety and a loaded chamber indicator. This rifle exhibits only the very slightest of handling marks from safe storage. The original makers box and test target are included. This beautiful rifle would make a great addition to an existing collection or a fine start to a new collection.
