A Very Early & Desirable Civil War Factory Engraved Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial #71,767, all matching numbers. Made in 1853. All original and complete. The revolver has fine metal, markings, factory engraving, and edges. It has a full and complete cylinder scene. The barrel, frame, loading lever, and hammer are all factory engraved. The factory engraving is very crisp and sharp. The all of the metal parts have a nice untouched light patina on the with the barrel and frame still showing original blue throughout them. The brass backstrap & trigger guard are both factory engraved throughout and retain most of their original silver on them. All screws are fine and are also engraved. The factory deluxe burl grips are excellent and full throughout. The revolver has a fine action and bore in it. This Is A Very Fine Example Of An All Original And Very Early Civil War Factory Engraved Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver!
