Description:
Colt Model 1911 semi-auto pistol with 5 inch barrel that has a very good bright shiny bore. About 50% thinning blue on the frame while the slide is a mix of a blue/gray patina. Walnut Colt grips feature 15 rows between the diamonds and show just the right amount of wear to match the rest of the gun. Nice tight action. 2-tone 7 round magazine. Made in 1918 and comes with a WW1 G.I. Warren Leather Goods Co. J.A.O. holster also made in 1918. A good example of a WW1 "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" marked Colt 1911 pistol and holster rig. A piece of history.
