Description:
The BSA International MK II was manufactured between 1953 and 1959 and remains in excellent overall condition. Wood is solid and shows only gentle use for 60 plus years. BSA has its beginnings as early as 1689 under King William III in Birmingham England. In 1861 the Birmingham Small Arms Trade Association was formed into the Birmingham Small Arms Company Limited. Using the "Martini" action, one of the finest actions in the world for building precision target rifles and used predominantly by BSA. It is said that this rifle in its original form is preferred by target rifleman. This model MK II sported an improved trigger, ejectors and stock design. Blue is very worn on barrel and receiver shows some light wear on bottom and high contact places. Target scope block and bottom target rail remain in place. Very nice classic target gun!
