Remington Model 742 in .30-06 Sprinfield. The Remington Model 742 Woodmaster is a semi-automatic rifle that was produced by Remington Arms from 1960 until 1980. It uses a straight 4-round magazine. It features a side ejection port and a free-floating barrel. It uses the same action as the Remington 1100 series shotgun. This model commemorates the 150th year of Remington Arms. It was made in 1966 and slightly over 11,000 were made. .30-06 Springfield
