Nice JM stamped Marlin 1895SS Chambered in .45-70 Govt. Manufactured in 1986. It features a 22\" Micro Grooved barrel. Semi Buckhorn sight with front sight hood intact. Drilled and tapped for scope. The action is smooth and bore is in good shape. Bluing and wood are about 90%. This is a shooter, not a collector and is priced accordingly. It shows some handling marks consistent with field use. The negatives: The recoil pad is not original and the barrel is dinged up near the rear sight where someone attempted to drift the sight. Otherwise this will make a great back country rifle and trusty companion.
