Standard configuration P226, with nitron finished slide and early design night sights, made for the Fribourg Police. Left side slide is marked with the Fribourg canton emblem and “SIG SAUER". Right side of slide marked with model and serial number. Matching barrel (left side of chamber) is marked with the caliber. The full serial number repeated for the third time, on the right side of the frame. Fitted with SIG Arms textured grips. Magazine made by MEC-GAR, under contract for SIG, the front spine marked for law enforcement use, with three indicator holes numbered “5, 10, 15." Synopsis: One of the scarcer SIG Sauer police issue P226 pistols, this example in 9mmP, used in canton of Fribourg. Condition: VG-EXE, with sharp edge/holster wear consistent with a gun that has seen service use. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Near mirror bright bore with sharp rifling.
