Cooper Firearms of Montana creates some of the most desirable semi-custom rifles in this country. Led by Dan Cooper and a handful of craftsman previously employed by Kimber of Oregon, Cooper rifles are amongst a scant few that can promise AND DELIVER ½’ MOA GROUPS FROM THEIR gorgeous rifles. With many ways to customize their standard production models, it isn’t often you will see two alike in their wood stocked models. This Model 57M rifle in .22WMR is extraordinary in many ways. First, it lives up to the ½”MOA legend. We have included pictures of the previous owner’s sighting in target that shows incredible accuracy at 100 yards with Hornady 30 grain V-MAX ammunition. One 5-shot group measures ¼” MOA! When famed outdoor writer Townsend Whelen uttered the words “only accurate rifles are interesting”, he likely never imagined a sporting rifle from Cooper Firearms of Montana would ever be so INTERESTING! Second, this is a stunningly beautiful rifle, simply elegant with its highly figured English walnut stock, finely checkered and fit seamlessly to the metal, fluted stainless barrel, and graceful curves. To buy this rifle today in its upgraded style would cost in excess of $5200 and take almost 6 months to receive. It includes a $550 Leupold 6-18x scope, and all is in as new condition, bringing the retail value to over $5700. You can have this rifle within a week for a fraction of that cost.
