Description:
Most all original blue remains on the 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in .22 caliber with full length magazine tube. Bore is bright and shiny with good rifling. Open sights include a beaded blade front and and a sporting rear, Case colored frame and lever retain most bright color. Strong blue on the hammer and forend cap. Very good condition plain walnut pistol gripped stock and checkered hard rubber buttplate. Crisp tight action. Very nice early 9k serial number Marlin Model 39. These were made from 1922-1938.
