Description:
This is a well worn, but perfectly functional game gun ready for the field. It is an AyA 16ga double gun with extractors, double triggers and an english straight stock. I believe it is a #3, built in the late 1960’s. The right barrel shows some light freckling. The left barrel shows some mild pitting ahead of the chamber that could probably be honed out, or just shoot it as it stands. The barrels are 28” and the bluing is well worn but they ring nicely and don't show any dents. My gauge shows it is choked .016 and .018 (light modified and modified.) Chambers are 2.75". Length of pull is 14 3/8 to a checkered butt. Very slight cast for right hander at the toe. The wood finish is chipped and scratched. You could give it a refinish, or just hunt with it as is. Nice, light, 16 gauge game gun with great dimensions.
