Here's a classic Winchester. This model 74 has probably taken more squirrels and rabbits and varmits than any other 22 cal rifle in last 80 years.
This very one has done it's fair share. I knew the previous owner, a squirrel hunter, who would only shoot the squirrels head, always aiming at the eye. He didn't want to mess up the meat!. The 74 has always been known for it's accuracy. This gun was made in about 1946. Seventy seven years old and has another hundred and seventy seven years of fun for some lucky hunter. We opened this gun up looking for any issue. Found nothing . As clean inside as outside. Shows ho wear signs. This 74 has been really well cared for.
