SALE PENDING 20230920 - I purchased this gun from the original owner who bought it in Clearfield, Pa at a hardware store in 1965. This gun has been shot by the first owner. It shows minor handling marks and slight holster wear. It has three distinct marks on the frame: one on each side of the frame in line with the forcing cone and one on the top strap. These marks and all wear are clearly presented in the listing photos. There is a faint wear ring on the cylinder. There is no corrosion or crazing in the finish often seen in highly-polished guns that have been used. This gun shows honest wear as described here but still rates a fine to excellent condition rating. The blue finish is shiny, deep and lustrous. The original grips show minor use but rate about excellent. The action is buttery smooth and reflects the quality of pythons made in the 1960s. No box or other accessories are provided.
