This is truly a beautiful gun. Why it was built is a classic American story. In a nut shell, The model 94 was first built in 1866.
The Centennial was built in 1966 to honor and say thanks for the 100 years of service from the 94. The 94 was instrumental in the
growing up of our U S A ! This little guy is nearly 60 years old and looks great. It's been looked at and loved on a lot. That's what
a collector gun is for ! However , it has never been fired or even loaded! It has been kept in a humidity controlled room for years.
There are no negative issues with this 94. I have no box. Keeping empty boxes used to be a bad idea. After all a beautiful gun
should be seen , not stored!
Just a thought; My dad never kept gun boxes. He said a collection has a character. Items ( guns ), should be true and original.
Should be common well known guns but have unique feature. Should be pleasing to look at. Should be readily available for guest to see.
Should have a history. That's the way I have always enjoyed my small collection. I'm proud of my guns character!
This Centennial has been a great piece of that.
