This Winchester M70 .338 Win Mag w/Leupold Vari-X II w/2-7x Scope (Very Clear) &
Hunter Leather (Quick Detach Sling Swivels) , 25 inch Barrel (Mirror - w/very distinct
rifling. The bluing is abt 95-97% w/very light edgewear at the muzzle, floorplate & Trigger
guard (Very Faint). The buttstock is abt the same w/a original Winchester Buttpad (Std Equip
on this Model 70) it's known to M70 enthusiast's as the "Alaskan"(No dents, dings or scratches.).
It's obviously had excellent maintainence & care. The action is smooth & tight. It should appeal
to the ready to hunt big game sportsman. I haven't seen but very few in this kind of original
condition before (See pics & if you want more just ask).
I would rate it as an "NRA Very Good to Excellent.
