Standard configuration and externally matching Bern K31 rifle, made 1941, with tangent rear sight graduated 1-15, straight pull bolt, detachable magazine, aluminum muzzle cap and metal buttplate. The left side of receiver is marked 680024 the same number repeated on the bolt and on the bottom of the magazine, the last three digits on the barrel that is import marked. Walnut stock, military proofed. Metal buttplate. Newer era military sling dated “62”. Matching bayonet with scabbard and frog. Synopsis: Bern, K31, Swiss Military Rifle, Matching Bayonet Condition: VG+ condition with handling and fading commensurate with a rifle that has seen moderate service use. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. Comparable condition bayonet and frog.
