A Very Desirable Civil War Colt Percussion Model 1861 Round Barrel Navy Revolver In Excellent Condition. Serial #16,503, all matching numbers. Made in 1863, all original and complete. The revolver has excellent metal, markings, and edges. The cylinder scene is very crisp and clear throughout. The barrel on the gun retains most of its original factory blue with a small area fading into a plum brown on one side. The cylinder is a mix of plum brown with thinning blue in spots. The frame, lever, and hammer all have fine plus case colors throughout them. All screws are excellent and retain their original fire blue. The backstrap and trigger guard are excellent with hints of original silver and a mellow mustard brown color on them. The original grips are also excellent throughout and retain all of their original factory varnish on them. The bore is excellent and the action is very tight and crisp. This Is A Very High Condition Example Of A Civil War Colt Percussion Model 1861 Navy Revolver That Would Be A Wonderful Addition To Any Fine Collection!
