Evans, 1861" Of The FTPCC" Which Is The "First Troop Phildelphia City Cavalry" In Near Mint Condition. Serial # 104,910, all matching numbers. Made in 1861, all matching numbers. All original and complete. The entire revolver has near mint metal , markings, and edges. The cylinder scene on the gun is crisp as new. The back of the cylinder retains all of its original stops on it. The barrel and cylinder retain all of their original factory blue finish on them. The frame, lever, and hammer retain all of their original factory bright and vivid case colors. All screws are mint retaining all of their factory fire blue. The brass backstrap and trigger guard have an even untouched color to them. The original factory grips are mint throughout. The revolver has a mint bore and tight as new action. The First Troop Philadelphi City Cavalry was formed in 1774 as the "Light Horse Of Philadelphia" or "The Philadelphia Light Horse" and was one of the First Patriotic Military organizations established in The American Revolution" The original founder and Captain was Abaham Markoe. This troop fought in many battles and often served as George Washingtons personal bodyguard. During The Civil War they were called into active duty and fought in many important battles including, "The First Battle Of Bull Run, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, The Wilderness, Spotsylvania, Cold Harbor Petersburg & Appomattox!
