Description:
A Colt Model 1851 Percussion Navy Revolver In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial #188,884, made in 1866. All matching numbers, all original and complete. The revolver has fine metal, markings, and edges. It has a full and crisp cylinder scene. The barrel on the gun still retains lots of original blue with some areas thinning to a plum brown. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all have darkening case colors on them. All screws are fine on the gun and also retain their blue finish. The backstrap and trigger guard still retain some of there original silver on them. The rest has an untouched mellow brass color on it. The original grips are excellent plus and full throughout. They still retain their original factory varnish on them. The gun has a fine bore and very tight action. This Is A Very Fine Example Of A Colt Model 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver That Probably Made It Out West!
