An Early U.S. Civil War Military Issued H. Aston Single Shot Pistol In Very Nice Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The pistol has very nice metal and markings with nice edges. the lock has clear markings and is dated 1851. The barrel is U.S. Sub Inspected and also dated 1851. All of the metal on the gun has a nice even natural darkening patina throughout it. The original wood is nice throughout also with very good edges. There are two U.S. Inspectors Cartouches under on the backside of the wood opposite the lock. The U.S. Martial Pistol has a fine action and bore. This Is A Very Nice Example Of An Early All Original U.S. Civil War Military Issued H. Aston Pistol With Matching Dates. It Would Be A Fine Addition To Any Civil War Collection!
