Ok I will tell you all I know about this python. First I do not know if it was a factory Engraved Python and I do not have a letter I never thought it was worth it to me. I bought this at a Gun Show in Wisconsin many years ago. I can tell you however it's BEAUTIFUL !!! The engraving covers at least 99% of the pistol. It is nickel finish. Now the cool part is the serial number on the frame inside the crane is 1702 over a 1 ? Of course if we age this python it 's a very early gun. It has been fired at some point but not by me. These pictures don't do the pistol justice my cell phone pics are available for the asking. The gun is just amazing !! I do know this was issued from the factory as a blued gun according to Colt. Shipping will be $50 to your FFL. I am always open to offers and a good conversation about this pistol.
