Description:
Here is a work of art from master gunsmith HW Creighton of Nashville TN. The provenance the came with the rifle said it was Harry W. Creightons personal gun and it is the same he died of fatal heart attack while carrying. Please note the silver grip cap with the "C" initial. A request will get you a copy of what I have.
On a side note, I also have Creighton's Winchester Model 70 in 375 H&H.
Now to the nuts and bolts. The rifle is finely checkered, shadow-line raised cheek, Griffin & Howe mounts, 26" barrel, Lyman peep sight mount with blank, monogrammed silver grip cap and cartrdge trap in the buttplate.
