Description:
Remington new model Army early civilian conversion revolver. Serial number 93040 under the barrel and the grip frame. .44 cal. The barrel is 8" long. Modified to shoot .44 C.F. with the conversion number 45 stamped on the barrel and frame. This revolver was made in the 1860s. It has a good look with a nice even uncleaned patina and bumps and bruises. The action cycles perfectly and locks up TIGHT! The cylinder does NOT wobble. The bore is very clean and the rifling is great The barrel address is partially visible (E.REMINGTON & SONS, ILION< NEW YORK USA). Grips appear to be original with notches in the right grip and a chip out of the left bottom. Matching serial numbers on the frame and barrel assembly. It chambers a 44 colt. $35.00 shipping
