Peter Noreen, Belgrade, MT full custom 7x57 built on a Pre-64 Model 70 action with a 23" barrel with ramp front sight and Lyman 48 reciever peep sight. Bore is excellent. Two panel bolt knob checkering. Custom built up and checkered bolt release. Recontoured top tang. Blind magazine box. Stocked in a very nice piece of English Walnut with good color and contrast. Point pattern checkering. Ebony forend tip with widows peak. Sling swivels fore and aft. Skeleton grip cap. 13 1/2" LOP to a Biesen checkered steel buttplate with engraved screws. 7lb 9oz The stock had a minor start /stop crack behind the top tang repaired by my stock man and not going anywhere. This light weight mountain type rifle remains in nearly new condition. Excellent value.
