Description:
This is one of approximately 1000 Bearcats that Ruger shipped in 1993 with the 22 lr and 22 magnum cylinders. There was a problem with the 22 magnum cylinders and Ruger recalled all guns shipped to that point. I believe there are records showing that approximately 300 to 400 magnum cylinders were returned to Ruger (for a $40 credit). The remaining guns are now highly collectible and hardly come up for sale.
This gun is completely original and has not been fired outside the factory. There is a registration card filled out with the original purchasers information but apparently it was not sent in to Ruger. Included in the sale is also the letter of authenticity from Ruger showing that the gun shipped with both cylinders.
