These rifles are the closest we civilians can get to purchasing an HK416. Set on top the "Trijicon VCOG 1-6 known as being virtually indestructible, thanks to MIL-STD-810G testing standards, the Trijicon VCOG 1-6x24 riflescope also gives users a first focal plane reticle that allows the subtensions and drops to remain true at any magnification. Expect superior glass quality and light-gathering capabilities with zero distortion." -Trijicon

"Columbus, Georgia — Heckler & Koch is expanding their high-end MR rifle line into the hot realm of competitive shooting. The Competition Model is a customized version of HK’s MR556A1 rifle, the semi-automatic model of the company’s legendary HK416 carbine.
“We took the basic MR556A1 and added a few tweaks and accessories to make it the ideal gun platform for competition matches — especially 3 gun competitions,” said Jason Koon, captain of HK’s Shooting Team and originator of the new rifle.
“With its inherent precision accuracy, there wasn’t much we needed to do to make this 556 rifle an excellent comp gun,” continued Koon. “It needed a longer, more comfortable handguard and a slimmer buttstock. Together with a larger magazine release and effective compensator and that’s about all you want to add.”
The Competition Model is equipped with a new, extended 14-inch keymod handguard."
