Description:
Standard 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 44 RF with a full length mag tub and crescent style buttplate. This one is an early rifle with a “HENRY” marked barrel and a 19k serial number that was made in 1868. Barrel and mag tube are a brown/gray patina. Frame features a dark brass patina with 9 “achievement ” marks on top of the receiver. Special order sling swivels. Wood is good looking and fitting with just a few light handling marks. These early guns are hard to find and are quite desirable. A good collectable Winchester for your collection!
