Fausti is an Italian gunmaker established in 1948, well-known in the European market for decades, and becoming so here in the United States.  In 2009, Fausti brought “Fausti USA” to Virginia to begin a long relationship with the American market for upland and sporting shotguns.  Many in the American shotgun world recognize Fausti as a result of the “Fausti sisters”, the women who have been responsible for the amazing success of their product line both here and abroad.  With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, Fausti guns are known to be reliable, aesthetically appealing, while maintaining the Old World dynamics that sporting shotguns should have.  This fine upland gun is their luxury model DEA SL SPECIAL, the “SL” noting the side plated action that shows the game scene engraving and is signed by the creator of the game scenes and scroll that adorns the coin-finished action.  Built in 2008, this gun has seen little use.  WEIGHING JUST 6LBS. 7OZ. WITH IT’S 28” FIXED CHOKE BARRELS, it is lighter than most 20 or 16ga. guns that are being carried afield today.  The barrels have factory 3” chambers in case you need some heavy hitting loads for late season birds or waterfowling, and the English stock, splinter forearm, ejectors, and special order double triggers make for the classic side x side many are turning to for upland and clays.  The wood is heavily figured Turkish walnut, finely checkered with 99% factory finish and light handling marks.  The barrels retain 99% factory blue, are tight as new on hinge and breech face, and have mirror bores.  The mechanics are perfect, with strong, well-timed ejectors, crisp triggers, and a solid lock up.  This is a gorgeous, ULTRALIGHT upland gun priced well within most gunner’s budget.  The gun is cased in a leather trimmed luxury Negrini case, fully approved for airline travel.  The MSRP price on this gun would be in the $7500 range today, so our price will be very attractive for the gunner that is looking for a modern side x side with top quality materials and workmanship from an Italian gunmaker that has earned a solid reputation in the outdoor world.  See the specifications below.  Thanks for looking!
