This Model 1897 Trap Gun was made in 1903 and was not modified to shoot 2 3/4" shells. The action functions as designed and a two barrel set 1897 Trap Gun is pretty rare. 12 Gauge

Metal Condition: Numerous scratches and abrasions from use. A Social Security Number has been scratched on both barrel assemblies.
Wood Condition: The wood appears in fair condition with nice figured walnut with a few dents and dings. A hairline crack can be seen at the wrist both sides
Bore Condition: Both bores are bright showing no rust or pitting
Barrels: "Two barrel set, identical numbered to the gun. 30"" and 28"" Knurled top
