GRI British Lee Enfield No.1 Mk.III Service Rifle. Manufactured in 1945. Serial number 20097J with matching numbered bolt, rear sight and nose cap. Stock is wrapped with copper wire and fitted with a bolt between the barrel and receiver. Rifles were reinforced in this manner for launching grenades. Caliber 303 British. 25 1/4" Barrel. 13 1/4" length of pull to original butt plate. Rear sight graduated to 2000 Yards. Includes one 10-Rd magazine. Fine overall condition(See detailed photos).
