This Winchester M-70 , cal .270 was mfg abt 1949. It is in good but used condition. The Bluing is abt % 95%.
The barrel is 24 inches w/a mirror bore and very distinct rifling (See Pic). The action is normal. The buttstock
is abt 60-70 % w/thinning finish at the buttplate & receiver areas and handling marks. There are no cracks. It is a good prospect for both a shooter and entry level colector who wants an all original M70.
