Description:
This gun is pictured on page 115 of The California Gunsmith book by Lawrence Sheldon. A very scarce gun. Very high quality gun with German Silver forend cap, trigger guard and buttplate. Typical cheek piece. Checkering is in fine condition. Wood has been cleaned but not sanded or undersized. 32 inch medium heavy weight barrel with signs of being lightly cleaned. Still retains a considerable amount of original blue. Fine functioning double set triggers. Fixed barrel sight and replacement tang and front sight. Very good bore. Original ramrod. Markings on the barrel but none on the lock. A good looking rifle.
