Mark Moon Custom Mauser Sporter, .338 Win. Mag., 9 lbs, 10 oz. (with scope), 13 5/8" LOP over a pad, Interarms Mark X Mauser action with one flat bottom checkered panel bolt knob, jeweled bolt, converted two-position Winchester style safety, steel grip cap, custom bottom metal with inside triggerguard floorplate release, Canjar trigger, 24 1/2" heavy contoured Douglas sporter barrel with a recessed crown, nicely figured walnut with wrap fleur-de-lis checkering, sling swivel studs. Comes with installed Burris 3-9x scope and mounts. Excellent condition rifle showing only minor handling and use marks. Made by Mark Moon, Gunnison CO, this was my personal elk rifle (different scope) for about 15 years and was purchased from the Cabelas Gun Library in Sidney back before there was such a thing as the internet. It was sold in my shop when I switched to archery and has now come back for sale on consignment. I can vouch that if you do your job, it's an elk killer. The extra weight makes this .338 Win Mag about as pleasant on a bench as one can be.
