Description:
Lefever C Grade for sale. ‘C’ grades are not often seen for sale. Mfg 1901. Full restoration by Buck Hamlin 2017. 30” Krupp Fluid Steel barrels, 2 5/8” chambers, L=.731-.7 01 MWT .042, R=.732-.702 MWT .043, LOP 14 1/8, DAC 1 ½”, DAH 2”. Ejectors and cocking indicators. Pistol grip cap w/ appropriate grade ‘C’ marked underneath. Snap on splinter forearm. Front and mid brass bead. Gold plated triggers. Period red butt plate with top spur. Unadorned estcutcheon. Period correct re-case coloring. Checkering recut and stock refinished with period correct finish.
Very nice handling gun. Has fired 125 BP low pressure rounds since restoration. I shot approx. 105 eurasian doves in 2019 and it has sat since then. Lovely semi-fancy wood. Engraving crisp and sharp. Pointing setter on right, pointing dog on left, 2 ducks on bottom trigger guard. It’s now excess to my wants as I start to par down.
