Description:
For your consideration is a Savage/Fox Model B double barrel shotgun in 16ga. I believe this is a Model B-DL although that isn't marked on the firearm only Model B. However, Model B-DL came with a single trigger and the satin chrome frame which this shotgun has. This firearm was manufactured from 1962-1965. It has a 28" barrel with a full choke barrel and a modified choked barrel with a mid and front bead sight. Single trigger and internal hammers. Some engraving on sides and bottom of receiver. Metal is in very good shape, retaining 98% of its original bluing. There is a small ding on the underside of the right barrel (see last picture), but it does not effect the use of the firearm. The barrel bores are bright and shiney with no pitting or corrosion. The wood is in very good shape with no cracks, splits, large dings, abrasions or dents. Has leather recoil boot on stock.
